Second charge loan brokerage Y3S has further bolstered its team with the appointment of Laura Strange as its new Group Human Resources Manager.

In an aim to firm up its approach to human resource management in the run up to FCA regulation, Y3S has appointed Laura to manage human resources across the group of businesses, including three offices in South Wales encompassing Y3S Loans, Y3S Bridging & Commercial, and Chaseblue Loans.

“There has been so much to address before regulation takes hold of the second charge industry and we want to ensure that we have taken all reasonable steps to build strength in every conceivable area,” commented Matt Cottle, joint CEO of Y3S Group.

“Laura is utterly professional and has considerable experience in running HR departments within FCA regulated firms bringing a wealth of knowledge to our team.  

“She is also the second female member of management to be appointed in the last four weeks.”

Joint CEO Barney Drake added that he was over the moon that Laura had joined the team as a highly qualified HR professional with many years of experience in the sector.

“She understands the need to cement the group’s role as a customer-focused business and furthermore, her appointment will further improve the development of all staff,” Barney added.
