Second charge mortgage lender Equifinance has exclusively revealed to Loan Talk that it has appointed industry heavyweight Simon Stern as its strategic consultant.

The former founder and director of Prestige Finance is set to develop Equifinance’s distribution, new products and broker offerings.

Simon’s wealth of knowledge and expert understanding of the second charge mortgage sector will help the lender deliver new brand propositions to introducers.

With an aim to expand, Equifinance will be identifying new opportunities, where Simon will be influencing, supporting and sponsoring its drive to increase its presence within the market.

Equifinance provides access to products for customers who have experienced financial difficulties in the past. 

Simon hosted the Loan Talk Secured Loans Awards 2015 in January and joined major brokerage Fluent Money as non-executive director in April last year.
