After a smash-hit inaugural event last year, the organisers of the Finance Professional Show 2014 have announced that 70 per cent of stands have been allocated.

The Finance Professional Show 2014, being held on November 5th 2014, has revealed that 60 per cent of available stands have already been sold, with a further 10 per cent allocated, prior to official launch.

Launched in March 2013, support has been overwhelming for this new trade event aimed at providing something for all professionals working within financial services, securing its place as the number one show for the year.

In 2013, a year which was extremely busy with exhibitions in the financial services sector, the Finance Professional Show brought together almost 90 exhibitors and over 1,400 visitors on November 6th.

Off the back of that success, over 40 per cent of exhibitors rebooked before the end of December and since the New Year - the total stands sold has reached close to 60 per cent.

Reflecting on last year’s Show, NACFB Chief Executive Adam Tyler said: "We saw a constant flow of professional brokers to the show all day long. The conference programme brought in representatives from Westminster giving everyone the opportunity to have their say. It was great to have a large broker show back at Olympia."

Organised by the team behind the annual Commercial Finance Expo at the NEC in Birmingham, the inaugural Finance Professional Show secured a varied and relevant range of exhibitors, from high street banks to commercial lenders, to specialist asset-based and short-term finance providers. This, coupled with a strong conference programme and impressive visitor numbers, made the first Finance Professional Show one to remember.

Also commenting, Mark Sanders-Barwick, Communications and Marketing Manager for the Asset Based Finance Association, said: “The inaugural Finance Professional Show was extremely well attended and provided delegates a strong conference programme. It has set the bar for other shows to follow and looks set to be the go-to event of the year for finance professionals."

Last year's event was a great success for us and was an excellent platform for showcasing our brand, as well as establishing new relationships with contacts across the industry."

Brunel Mortgages made their exhibitor debut at the Show last year and Managing Director, Rob Derry, said: “We had a very successful FP show in 2013. It was the first time Brunel Mortgages & Loans had exhibited at anything like this and it paid for itself within a few weeks. We met some familiar faces and lots of new ones too. We’re hoping to repeat this in 2014 and with the very strong lending focus that this show has there was the right mix of visitors for us.”
