SimplyBiz launches second series of learning and development events
SimplyBiz has announced this year’s second round of learning and development events to be held at 21 venues across the country.
These events follow the success of the first series, which was accredited by the CII and London Institute of Banking & Finance and took place earlier this year.
The second round of events will cover a wide range of topics, including cash flow modelling, risk and capacity for loss; pensions and divorce; and HMRC’s disclosure requirements for trusts.
The events will also include a two-hour ‘pension masterclass’ presented by Scottish Widows and the SimplyBiz pensions team, which will explore the recent changes to advice as well as the likely future direction of regulatory travel and an in-depth focus on defined benefit pensions.
Other presenters include Standard Life, Aviva, Retirement Advantage and Royal London, with Pensionhelp, Innvotech, Intelliflo and Selectapension also exhibiting at each event to take adviser queries and discuss solutions.
Louise Wilson, head of events at the SimplyBiz Group, said: “We were delighted by both the attendance levels and positive feedback we received from the learning and development events in May and June, and have already taken more than 1,200 bookings for the upcoming round.
