Computershare Loan Services has been named the UK’s leading third-party mortgage administrator by S&P Global Rating Services following a recent assessment.

The company’s Skipton-based division was assessed as above average by the international ratings agency as a primary and special servicer of residential mortgages.

S&P Global ranked the division’s outlook as positive and stated that its position as a leading servicer would be underpinned by its “vast experience in mortgage administration, its established loan servicing systems and loan boarding capabilities”.

S&P Global also awarded the division above average sub-rankings for management and organisation, as well as loan administration, as it praised Computershare’s “commitment to invest in its servicing offer”.

In addition, the ratings agency recognised the significance of recently won contracts such as Sainsbury’s Bank and Vida Homeloans.

S&P Global also said of the division that:

its policies and procedures were “carefully reviewed”.
