The Mortgage Lender (TML) has completed its first mortgage nine weeks after launching.

The deal was introduced to TML through TMA who acted as advisers for the Independent Mortgage and Loan Company .

The clients were a young professional couple, both film producers, who opted for a two-year tracker mortgage to purchase a terraced house in London.

They had non-standard incomes and a previous mortgage for a buy-to-let property that they had switched from repayment to interest only based on advice from their accountant.

This led to a downgrading of their credit rating from their original lender.

Fortunately for the borrowers, after reviewing their case, TMA were able to complete the mortgage.
